Dilip Thadeshwar is an Indian actor known for his work in Hindi television. He also worked in Hindi, Telugu and Kannada films.
Dilip Thadeshwar worked as a model and starred in various advertisements.[1][2] He made his Telugu debut with Repallelo Radha (2001).[3] Regarding his performance in the former a critic wrote that "The lead actor, newcomer Dilip (face seen in many ads, can't place exactly which), is pathetic looking. His feeble attempts at histrionics take him nowhere. Shucks, he doesn't even manage to look cute".[2]
He starred in Jabili later that year.[3] Regarding his performance in the latter, a critic wrote that "Dilip, though, has a pretty little head, and for a head it's pretty little. He can easily win a medal in the events of being Mr. Stone Faced and Mr. Woodpecker Head".[4] Another critic wrote that "This non-Telugu fair skinned actor is a model material. He is not suitable for movies. His receding hairline and weak body language are the main drawbacks. As he does not know Telugu, it's very difficult for him to understand and act in most of the scenes where the dialogues should be told with appropriate native expressions".[5]
He played the lead role of Amar Sanghani, a foreign educated doctor, in the Hindi television serial Aati Rahengi Baharein (2002-2003).[6]
He made his Kannada debut with Joke Falls (2004), the remake of Chupke Chupke (1975) and reprised the role of Amitabh Bachchan.[7] A critic wrote that "Drawbacks of the film are Dilip and Dipali who are not at all fit for their roles. Then comes Dilip's lip-synching which is so very evident".[8]
